Whats New on Retro Network

Whats New on Retro Network!

It turns out that i forgot to disable the 'use CSS styles instead of HTML' option on KompoZer. I have now disabled it so now it outputs HTML elements. So that means Netscape users and Internet Explorer 1.5 users will see the page colors. This will not effect modern browsers

Retro Network is now accessible via the Protoweb Proxy service this also means that Internet Explorer 1.5 users can now visit Retro Network and over time all pages will be formatted for Internet Explorer 1.5
to find out more about Protoweb visit http://retronetwork.net/protoweb

Note Only the main domain and the RSS subdomain

Now that i think about it HTML4 is out of date. Due to This i have created an new HTML5 layout which will replace the other layouts in April 5th 2023 Check it out by clicking the link above

P.S check the date :)

Its the best of both worlds
Mobile users will no longer have to zoom in. While old browsers will still be able to view the site without errors

Note: This means this is NOT the end of m.retronetwork.net it sill hosts mobile downloads

I have added a banner for the RSS feeds which i now call the
Retro network RSS System

NOTE: This will not break compatibility with older RSS readers

Feeling lost around the retro network?
Well feel lost no longer. The site map is now available. It contains most of the main links to the pages to the Retro Network

Now certain sites in the list are separated into different category's they are

Due to Google making Feedburner no longer work on Old Browsers like Internet Explorer 4.0 I have decided to discontinue the Feedburner service to continue to receive new updates via the RSS feed you must switch to the ListGarden feed which has been tested to work on Old browsers. The

Due to Google butchering Feedburner with some HTML 5 bloat and also removing some services that Retro Network depends on. I am switching the HTML preview pages to ListGarden. Don't worry. You do not need to change your RSS reader because the main RSS feed is also powered by ListGarden

Discovery of the RSS feeds is now available for compatible browsers Like Internet Explorer 8 and Pale Moon

3 new online radio stations have been added to the VTuner stream list. They are Radio Caroline, Radio Caroline Flashback. And Radio Caroline North. To listen to the new editions to the list visit the FTP directory and click the "Online Radio" folder. P.S I should create an RSS feed

I create lot's of Subsites. Mostly because i am interested in 90s Website design. So i have decided to create a Subsite list. Next time you go to the landing page. In the Page Layout menu select 'Subsite List' or go to http://www.retronetwork.net/subsites

I now have a personal website that is separate from my main site. i even have a personal blog you can subscribe to. just head to http://jackson.retronetwork.net hope to see you there :)

Due to the Internet Explorer end of life happening tomorrow i need to clarify that the Retro Network will always support Internet Explorer (so is razorback95.com) and just in case Windows 10 redirects you to the malware known as Chromium Edge. I will find a Fix for the redirection problem.

Do you hate the bloated HTML 5 websites radio stations force you to use? Well the Retro Network VTuner stream list is now available. The launch radio stations are CBC Radio 2. And a V A P O R W A V E station with more stations coming
